The Blue Gem Turquoise Mine Is Located Near Battle Mountain in Lander County, Nevada.  The Mine Originally Opened In 1934 And Shut Down Production Sometime During The 1970’s.  Blue Gem Turquoise Is An Extremely Hard Stone Considered To Be Some Of The Highest Quality Turquoise Mined In Nevada.  The Mine Is Noted To Have Produced A Wide Selection Of Distinctive Colors Ranging From Dark Blues To Dark Greens And Everything In Between.  This RARE Turquoise Stone, Especially Offered In Its Natural, Non-Treated State, Is Highly Coveted By Discerning Collectors.
