SilverTQ, LLC uses the title of “Vintage” to classify Indian handcrafted sterling silver pieces that are typically older.  These authentic Native American jewelry pieces have been previously owned.  Searching through this selection of items can be like a treasure hunt!   There is absolutely no set pattern, type or style that might be found in this category.  All vintage jewelry pieces ,however, will undeniably be authentically handcrafted by a reputable Native American artist.  Nothing less!

Identifying The Artist

Vintage items are typically purchased from their previous owners and not directly from the artist who created and produced them.  Consequently, for various reasons, correctly identifying the artist may not be possible.  Some artist hallmarks may disclose this information.  However, it was not unusual in earlier times for artists to produce their sterling silver jewelry pieces without providing their identifiable hallmark.

Identifying The Stones

Accurately stating the correct type of turquoise and other semi-precious stones can also be problematic with vintage jewelry items.  SilverTQ, LLC will give their utmost effort to correctly identify all stones.  It must be recognized, though, all mines produce a variety of colors and matrix patterns, making proper identification at times difficult and sometimes virtually impossible.  SilverTQ, LLC abides by a firm policy of not stating the origin of stones or the artist whenever this information is not assuredly known.
