Bennie Ration was born in 1955 in the To'Hajiilee Navajo Chapter in New Mexico. His father, John Ration, was a lifelong silversmith and taught him the art of silversmithing from the age of 11. Bennie worked as a silkscreener and graphic designer before continuing with silversmithing, and this background is displayed in his jewelry pieces, which feature three-dimensional silver figures. Some of his notable creations include kachina figures, Southwestern animals, and Navajo-inspired geometric patterns. 

Calvin Martinez

Calvin Martinez is a reputable silversmith who often creates classic, traditional Navajo jewelry featuring turquoise and coral.
